 Praying through!
<<back to main page
THERE ARE many prayer needs. Gloria has lost her brother–in–law and a good long-time friend in recent weeks. Former attender, Mrs Shelley, died days before Easter — keep her children, including Wal, in prayer. And there have been a number of sicknesses. Don’t forget that your joys and sufferings affect us all.

SEVERAL PEOPLE
are reporting increased opportunities to share the gospel. One member was approached by people on two separate occasions only days apart to explain the gospel. God’s Spirit is at work: watch for the signs!

JOAN OATES is recovering, albeit slowly, and has only one drain still left in place. While continuing to pray for her full recovery, also be glad for progress made. At one point it didn’t look as though she would survive the sickness. STOP PRESS... final drain now removed!

FLORA GREEN, Peter Green’s mother, has just been diagnosed with diabetes — the first case in her family. It's not easy to adjust to news like that. Pray for her. Also pray for Peter’s father, Bob, with secondary but slow–growing cancer.

BRIAN HALL is glad to report that his visa problems are finally being sorted out, but he is still worried about the situation of his family, as well as finding suitable work in Australia. Keep praying!

TONY AND GINA Bradford are still building an outreach team, in the hope of being able to help us. Pray that God will guide!

CHRIS GREEN hasn’t been so well lately. Her diabetes is impacting on healing from cuts, and her stamina isn't high.

JOHN BROWN is now a lot better since his bouts of upper respiratory tract infections earlier in the year. Praise God!

MARIA, BJÖRN AND REBEKAH should remain in our prayers.

ELISE & NICK have been in contact a few times recently. Pray for them and for Sam, particularly as Elise gets fully back into her Doctoral studies.

PAUL CULL (Brazil) is no longer running the House of Hope Project, but continues to minister in local churches as well as beginning a congregation meeting in a school not far from the Friburgo area where he continues to live. Pray for his work.

VARIOUS BAUTISTAS will be away for parts of the month due to family matters including wedding arrangements for one of Neph's nieces. Pray for them in their absences.

WE KEEP some contact with Gilmer and Elena. Pray for them and for the children.

THE MARRICKVILLE CHURCH UNITY ACTION GROUP is on the move again, seeking ways to bring local Christians closer together. Elaine has approached the Ministers Fellowship about involvement in an ecumenical event with Bishop Cassidy. Pray that Elaine will have wisdom.

Sandra Hechanova of NCLC

Helping the Naga Christian Learning Centre

<< Back to main page

SEVERAL MONTHS ago, we decided to help the NCLC with some of its costs. This is a local church initiative, attempting to fill a gap in the needs of local children and their parents. Here are some things you can do to help...

  • Make a financial donation. Mark it “NCLC” and put it in the offering. Neph will get it to the right place.
• You may be able to arrange to get some equipment to them. Computer/ printer spares are a big expense, so are books, writing equipment and so on. If you think you might have some resources, let us know, and we'll ask what they need.
• Pray for them (this should have been at the top) Sandra and Rommel’s eldest is in his mid teens, the youngest is a toddler. It’s hard to be parents and missionaries, too.
• Send a card, or pass on a message we can e-mail to the team (That way we don't burden anyone with extra e-mails to answer.) Encouragement is needed!

Australia needs Revival!

Any gathering of believers in your area claiming that Jesus is Lord needs your revival prayers.

Pray for yourself and for your brothers and sisters!
