About the founder, Pastor George Isabirye.

George Isabirye"After finishing my Theological training at Global Theological Seminary in 1999 I went straight away to where I felt God was drawing me," he says. "This was in the rural areas. These areas are least reached by the Gospel."

George was also troubled because so many cults have come up to confuse the hungry souls in these areas.

"Seeing this great harvest, I went and started Kiige Baptist Church in a remote village close to the shores of Lake Kyoga. One missionary referred to this village as the "uttermost ends of the earth" that Christ talked about," he continues.

" Our church has since opened up three other churches - Ndulya, Immeri, and Kasolwe Baptist Churches. We think of what Jesus said,
'And He was saying to them, "The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.' (Luke 10:2 NASV).

This is exactly the case in our area, but we have a saying that "Even one person can harvest his millet." So we are moving determinedly, with faith that God will send more workers at the right time."

 Kyoga_areaAbout the Project:

George writes about his vision...

"We have started the work we do not want to stop halfway. Two of the churches meet in temporary shelters, and the other two are meeting under tree shades. None of them has a permanent building. We are appealing to Christian brethren to assist us in the work of church planting and in the other problems one encounters in the ministry."

The project has five main programs - Ebenezer, Peniel, Mizpah, Neighbor and Shepherd.
