Our Pastor has a long-standing interest in revivals, dating from reading, as a new Christian, about the Wesleyan Revivals and the work of George Fox, the Quaker leader.

Personal experiences in the late 1960s and early 1970s convinced him that revival is a real possibility today, and is the privilege of any group of Christians willing to pay the price of seeking it God's way.

At Marrickville in 1984, he began teaching with the aim of introducing revival concepts, but conflicts in the church at the time demanded attention which made the revival message fade. Since the mid 1990s he has returned to revival teaching, having also grown in understanding and maturity over those years.
